Backup Emails & Free Up Space with Horde

In this quick tutorial, we  will run you through how you can backup cPanel Emails using Horde to FREE UP some extra Disk Space.

Depending on what emails or folders you wish to backup there's a few things this method will be useful for:

  • If you wish to backup Emails from a date range or select few emails across different folders - the method to create a Folder and drop them all in will be best suited.
  • If you wish to backup Emails from the Entire Folder you should ignore creating a separate folder and proceed to Exporting instead.

Firstly, to access your online Webmail you would need to follow this link  https://youromain.com/webmail

Once logged in you'll be prompted to select an Email App to access your Emails - Select 'Horde'.

Step 1: Click 'Folder Actions' - Select 'Create Folder' - Name it - Copy over Emails you want to Backup from other Folders.

(use this method if you don't wish to delete all of your Emails within the Inbox or Folder, you can use the newly created Folder to copy Emails over to it.)
